This stunning traditional wood chalet, built in 1834 and recently totally refurbished, is set in the heart of Le Grand Bornand and sleeps up to 12 people in fabulous style.

With over 200 square metres of floor space this is an ideal chalet for large families or groups of friends who appreciate their own space whilst holidaying with others. Complete with top of the range facilities, including a Jacuzzi bath and sauna, you will find it hard not to relax in this luxurious accommodation.

Available for: self catered, weeklong ski holidays from £175pp/week. Changeover day is Saturday. Transfers and lift passes can be arranged upon request.

Apartment Description

A well equipped kitchen with a 4-ring electric hob and oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher and spacious cupboard area is situated down some steps from the open plan living area.

Through the kitchen to one side is bedroom 1 and opposite is bedroom 2. A magnificent bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bath and sauna is just up the steps towards the living area, whilst bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 are placed along the far wall of the chalet. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms in traditional wood cladding with top-of-the-range facilities.

There is additional sleeping bunk space for children down some steps at the front of the chalet in a hidden alcove – perfect for kids with fairytale imaginations!

The luxurious living area is spacious and comfortable with leather sofas, traditional wool rugs and a large flat screen TV with DVD dominating the middle of the room. There is also a wood burning stove, surround sound stereo and various games, books and entertainments. The dining area, seating 12, is off the main living area and is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware.

Apartment Location

Situated just 300m from the main shops and town square of Le Grand Bornand, this chalet is close to all amenities, food shops, restaurants and bars as well as the local market on a Wednesday morning.

The regular ski bus runs from the bus station just 50m away from the chalet making it extremely easy to get to and from the main village telecabine ski lift – just a 3 minute bus journey away.

The chalet is perfect for those looking to self drive or hire a car at the airport (there is plenty of private parking). But its central location also means you can fly to Geneva, we will arrange airport transfers for you to the chalet and you are able to enjoy a full week’s skiing holiday without needing to use your car.
